DENSO Publishes 50-Year Corporate History

"Proud Past, Strong Future: A History of DENSO's First 50 Years"


TOKYO - DENSO Corporation today announced publication of its 50-year corporate history book in English. The book, "Proud Past, Strong Future: A History of DENSO's First 50 Years", was based on an earlier Japanese language version written in 1999 in honor of DENSO's 50th anniversary.

The 220-page hardcover book focuses on DENSO's growth in the global automotive supplier industry and offers insights into DENSO's corporate philosophy, culture, management spirit and employees. DENSO will distribute 13,000 copies to employees, customers and community leaders in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

"We wrote this book with the hope that it will deepen people's understanding of DENSO and of its group companies worldwide," said Isao Maekawa, managing director and head of Corporate Communications, DENSO Corporation. "We also hope this history helps our employees, customers and community gain a better understanding of our past and how this can help to create a strong future for DENSO."
