DENSO to Consolidate Three Subsidiaries Providing Personnel and Employee Benefit Services in Japan
Date: 05/29/2007

Kariya (Japan) – DENSO Corporation announced today that it will consolidate its three wholly owned subsidiaries―DENSO Well Corporation, DENSO Kyuyo Service Corporation, and DENSO Square Corporation―into one company, DENSO Well Corporation, in July. All three companies, located in Aichi, Japan, provide personnel or benefit services for DENSO group companies in Japan. The new company will also assume management of company houses and dormitories from DENSO Unity Service Corporation, also a DENSO subsidiary located in Aichi, Japan.

After the consolidation, DENSO Well, as a wholly owned subsidiary of DENSO, will have approximately 230 employees and capital of approximately US$125,000 (15 million yen).

“The new company will be created specifically to provide comprehensive personnel and benefit services,” said Masatoshi Ano, senior managing director in charge of DENSO's Corporate and Administration Centers. “It will improve services for employees and help strengthen the management structure of the DENSO group by enhancing business efficiency through the consolidation of similar services offered by the three companies.”

The services provided by the new company will include salary payment services, operations of insurance, loans and savings programs, and operations and management of company houses, dormitories, cafeterias, stores, and leisure facilities. The new company will also provide consulting services for DENSO’s group companies in Japan to improve personnel and benefit systems.
